What to expect
Reaching out for help can be difficult and finding the right counsellor, someone you can open up to and trust, is very important.
We will probably have a brief phone conversation first and, if we decide to meet, our first session will give you the opportunity to explain why you are seeking counselling or therapy, how you hope it will help and explore our suitability to work together.
As an Integrative counsellor and therapist I pay attention to the breadth of your experience and your current situation and tailor my approach to your needs. Use the menu above to find out about my approach and training and background.
Although I undertake long-term work with some clients, our initial agreement following our first meeting will be for a further 3-4 appointments. This allows us both to get a better sense of each other before agreeing to further sessions.
If we decide not to work together, then you will leave with alternative options and choices that are open to you.
