Appointments:

Initial appointment.
It is important for you to find the right counsellor or therapist for you. You need someone you can trust and open up to. Our first session will give you the opportunity to explain why you are seeking counselling or therapy, how you hope it will help and to explore our suitability to work together.  

Further sessions
I typically meet with clients on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Appointments are normally for 1 hour.

Availability
Daytime and evening weekday appointments are available. You can view available appointments and book appointments online here.

Many clients seek a brief phone conversation with me prior to booking an appointment and if you would like this we can arrange a time for a phone call (there is no charge for this).

Fees:

I charge £50 per session. Various payment arrangements are available (see here).

You are not required to pay in advance for appointments (unless you are booking your first appointment online).

Late notice cancellations (less than 48 hours notice) are chargeable. No fee is due for cancellations with more than 48 hours notice.  Sometimes we can rearrange an appointment at short notice and in this situation a late notice cancellation fee is not applied.

Most appointments are delivered from my home address, 22 Gilpin Street.

Central Peterborough – Gilpin Street:

• Number 22 is located between house numbers 16 and 24 (house numbers 18 and 20 are missing) and on the left hand side of GIlpin Street when travelling north (away from the town centre).
• I don’t have a waiting room so please arrive close to your appointment time.
• Parking: Off-road parking is available on the forecourt of the building and on- road parking is unrestricted.
• Public transport The No 1 bus stops withn a minutes walk on Lincoln Road. The location is 20 minutes walk from the bus and train stations. Please view the map below for directions.
